History & About Us

Owner Muriel Ruonavar (on right)
In May of 2007 Dejavu and Daily Brew opened. It is located in a 1903 Victorian Style home at 1109 W. Quincy Street in Hancock, Michigan. There are eight rooms full of antique furniture, glassware, china, pottery, vintage linens, jewelry, and copper items. The Carriage House is also filled with antiques. Lay-a-way is available for that special occasion.
The kitchen is the Coffee Shop, highlighted by a 1920's wood burning stove. The porch, turret, and gazebo also have tables for relaxing with a hot or iced coffee, tea, espresso or latte plus pastries. Free wireless internet is also available.
After retiring from their city jobs in the Minneapolis area, Muriel and Keith came to Hancock to pursue their dream. They collected antiques for years and continuously shop for quality antiques.
Last year readers of the Daily Mining Gazette voted Dejavu and Daily Brew as the best Antique and Coffee Shop.
Please step back in time to enjoy the home, antiques, goodies and interesting conversation with friends.
